Postponed Trip Home

For those of you who don't already know, we've had to postpone our usual trip home in May this year. Long story short, we're waiting for paperwork to be processed, and it won't likely be done until mid June or July. We could still come home, but coming back into the US would require possible delays at the border. So rather than go through that hassle, we've decided to put off the trip until later. We're debating about making a short trip in the fall, and a trip at Christmas, or a longer Christmas vacation over 3 weeks instead of 2. (I have an extra 5 days of vacay this year, since I've worked here 5 years this year)

So, unfortunately, we won't be seeing our good friends and family next month, but we still have an open invitation for those who want to come down and visit us. Just call ahead to reserve your space, reservations are filling up fast. (Hint, Hint)

P.S. I would not recommend the months of June, July, August or early September if you don't like heat or humidity.

P.P.S. We do not have AC in the car. But the apartment has lots of it, and we have a pool on site.

P.P.S.S. We can even find Canadian beer in a couple of local supermarkets (Alcohol content undisclosed) so you can even say that you've had Canadian beer imported from Canada (Unless you've spent a summer in the Gagetown training areas).

Hi Chris & Sara Hope all is well with you both. We are great here in N.S. That is too bad that you can't make it for a visit in May as usual, but I'm sure you will have a great time either in the fall or Christmas. We will be spending Christmas with Annette and her family this year, we take turns, one year with Annette and then the following year with Heather. They are all doing fine, Heather's kids GROWING UP TOO FAST, Ryan just finished his first year of university, he wants to be a history teacher which surprised us all as he took french immerson since grade 7 and was an honor student, Andrew graduates this year out of grade 12 and is going for tryouts at a Quebec college for football, which he is into big time, next weekend, and Tamara is going into grade 10 in September and is also doing great, her marks are in the 90's also doing french immerson. Do I sound like a proud grandmother, you guessed it I am. Annette's kids are also doing great, Chelsea is going into grade 2 and Connor starts kindergarten in August. We sure do miss not seeing them as much as we would like to. Chelsea is her Nanny's girl!!!! We are having soggy weather here today but on the warmer side. Well must close for now but will write again soon. Love To you both, Donna & Ron
